Tri-alta Oilfield Industries Ltd. is seeking a Lead Hand for our Edmonton manufacturing location. The ideal candidate will have a strong machining background with a journeyman certificate or equivalent industry experience. The position will be working in a fast pace environment and will be responsible for coordinating various areas of shop personal.
Responsibilities:
- Shop supervision of machine operators, shipping personal, shop labours.
- Production control – coordinate workload for machine operators. Provide technical support to machine operators.
- Quality control – complete “first off” inspection and conduct in-process inspections.
- Maintenance – Troubleshoot and repair and/or provide support to ensure equipment and building are fully operational.
