Tri‑Alta provides design, installation, repair, and testing services for electrical submersible pump (ESP) systems. Work is carried out by the technical service group and supports both complete system builds and modifications to existing installations.
Design
Tri‑Alta develops application-based designs for ESP systems based on well conditions, performance requirements, and operating environment. This includes full system design as well as adjustments to existing systems to improve performance and reliability in the field.
Installation
Field services include installation, configuration, and setup of ESP systems and related equipment. This includes equipment installation, integration of surface components such as VSDs, switchboards, and transformers, as well as cable handling, banding, and spooling for laydown operations.
Repair and Testing
Tri‑Alta provides repair and testing services across a range of ESP equipment and components.
Pump Testing
Pump testing is completed using recognized industry brands including Reda, Centrilift, and Wood Group systems. Testing includes pump curve analysis, data input, and performance validation to confirm operating characteristics.
Pump Repair
Pump repair services include full teardown and inspection, evaluation of parts and components, root cause analysis, and rebuild and reassembly. This process supports identification of failure points and restoration of performance.
Motor Repair and Testing
Tri‑Alta repairs, tests, and dries out ESP motors across multiple series and manufacturers. Services include electrical testing, inspection, rebuilds, and component replacement. Dry-out processes are used where motors have been exposed to well fluids, and coast testing is performed to verify mechanical and electrical condition under operating parameters.
Cable Repair and Testing
Cable repair services include splicing, inspection, and testing of ESP cable. All cables are tested using appropriate electrical verification methods to confirm integrity prior to redeployment.
Splicing Services
Splicing services include fully sealed and vulcanized connections designed for harsh operating environments, including high temperature, sour oil, and gas conditions.
